Curacao (Kura-waa) is an island country in the Caribbean Sea, about midway between Puerto Rico and Venezuela. It’s known for its white sand beaches, turquoise waters and top hotels. The trip will take a full day, so if you’re just getting started you may want to try a half-day hike instead. There are also plenty of beautiful natural landscapes to explore. If you enjoy hiking or simply want to get away from the crowds and relax on a white sandy beach, then Curacao can offer you all of this.

Curacao is home to some amazing food. The local cuisine has been influenced by different cultures and you should try everything from the local seafood to traditional Dutch pastries.
